Adam Sandler married Jackie Titone on June 22, 2003. The Jewish wedding took place at Dick Clark‘s oceanfront Malibu estate in front of 400 guests, including Jennifer Aniston, Dustin Hoffman and Sharon Osbourne.
The bride wore a Carolina Herrera gown, with spaghetti straps and a sweetheart neckline, paired with 1920s platinum and diamond jewelry by Neil Lane. She walked down the aisle to theme from “Life Is Beautiful.”
As a wedding gift, she gave her husband-to-be a bulldog puppy named Matzo Ball, who was pulled down the aisle in a wagon. The groom wore a black Armani tuxedo and white yarmulke, and was accompanied down the aisle by their other dog, Meatball, who carried the wedding bands on his back and was dressed to match his master.
The couple said their vows under a chuppah constructed of thousands of pink and white roses provided by Mark’s Garden.
The affair was planned by Mindy Weiss, who decorated the outdoor spaces with lanterns, votives and chandeliers hung from trees. A lounge area was set up around a fountain, with couches and ottomans for guests to relax. Following a cocktail hour, dinner was served, courtesy of Wolfgang Puck, along with a cupcake tower for dessert.
For fun, guests took turns playing video games and shooting hoops on a basketball court set up for the occasion.
A live band from West Coast Music provided dance music. At one point, Adam got up and serenaded his bride with a song that had guests in stitches.
At the end of the night, Krispy Kreme donuts were passed out as favors. Each box had a note with a picture of the couple’s two bulldogs which read, “Eat your donuts before we do.”
