The wedding took place in front of 350 guests at a private farm in Franklin, Tennessee.
The bride wore a custom strapless trumpet style wedding dress by Olia Zavozina made of silk duchess satin. She walked down an aisle lined with tree stumps and hurricane candles.
She wore her mother’s wedding ring for her “something old.”
The couple were married by a family friend just before sunset.
Following the vows, the reception moved inside to a barn on the property. Planned by Fete Nashville, the event had a rustic elegant feel. Flowers and exposed light bulbs were strung from the ceiling and centerpieces were French urns filled with flowers and greenery.
The couple shared their first dance to Josh Garrels’s “Heaven’s Knife.” Later in the evening, the groom surprised his bride with an impromptu performance of Randy Newman’s “You’ve Got a Friend in Me.”
Dinner was served family style and included mini fried chicken and waffles, buttermilk biscuits, polenta dusted salmon and short ribs.
For dessert, Dulce Desserts provided a seven layer cake with four different flavors.
At the end of the evening, the newlyweds departed in a 1960s Rolls Royce as their guests waved sparklers in the air.
