Cate Blanchett Regrets Not Taking Wedding Photos

Cate Blanchett tells Fox News one of the only regrets she has is not taking photos on the day of her wedding. She and husband, playwright Andrew Upton, “didn’t have any money at the time,” and couldn’t afford a photographer.

Cate Blanchett says she regrets not taking photos on her wedding day 11 years ago to playwright Andrew Upton.

“The only moment of my life I would possibly recapture is getting remarried again, because we didn’t take any photographs,” she tells Fox News. “We didn’t have any money at the time, and we couldn’t afford a photographer.” Cate and Andrew were married in the scenic Blue Mountains National Park in New South Wales, Australia on December 29, 1997.

The actress stars alongside Brad Pitt in the upcoming movie “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” a story about a man who ages backwards and can’t stop time. Blanchett says the film made her think about turning points in her life including her wedding.
