Charlene Wittstock will wear a wedding dress by Giorgio Armani when she marries Monaco’s Prince Albert II on July 2.
“Yes, I want to declare, I will make the wedding dress,” Armani confirmed to reporters after his fashion show in Milan on Sunday.
Wittstock has shown a liking to Armani attending his shows in Milan and consistently wearing his gowns over the last few years. She has been dating Prince Albert, the son of the late Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier III, since 2006.
The couple plan to tie the knot in the Palace’s Court of Honor in an open air event. The gates will be left open for 4,000 people to view the ceremony.
