Chris Kattan married Sunshine Tutt at Chateau Du Sureau, near Yosemite, on June 28, 2008.
All wedding planning was green and eco-friendly. For example, each guest received an invitation printed on flower seed paper.
Among the A-listers in attendance were Charlie Sheen, Rebecca Gayheart, Eric Dane, Jimmy Fallon and Will Farrell. Parker Posey served as “best man,” while Brooke Shields’ daughter, Rowan Henchy, was the flower girl.
The bride wore a strapless mermaid-style gown by Judd Waddell. The groom opted for a black tuxedo.
The ceremony took place in a courtyard decorated with green, blue and purple hydrangeas. After being pronounced husband and wife, guests showered the newlyweds with biodegradable heart-shaped rice.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held inside the hotel. The dinner menu was entirely organic and locally grown.
For dessert, the newlyweds enjoyed a three-tier wedding cake decorated with purple hydrangeas.
The couple shared their first dance to “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney. After that, the DJ took over and played music until 2 a.m.
At the end of the night, guests were given favor bags in reusable totes from My Bag Cares, a company that plants a tree in the U.S. for every bag purchased. Each tote contained natural and organic health and beauty products totaling over $1,500.
