“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Cynthia Bailey married entrepeneur Peter Thomas on July 24, 2010.
The wedding took place at the Fernback Museum of Natural History in Atlanta.
Among the 200 guests in attendance were Bailey’s castmates Kim Zolciak, Nene Leakes, Kandi Burruss, Phaedra Parks and Sheree Whitfield.
Cynthia entered the venue from a spiral staircase and walked down the aisle in a one-of-a-kind platinum gown by Rubin Singer with a large bow and silver pleats. She clutched a bouquet of white orchids.
Her eleven-year-old daughter, Noelle, was the flower girl.
The couple exchanged vows and wedding bands by Victor Otazu as guests looked on from silver Chiavari chairs.
Following the nuptials, a modern-style reception planned by Tony Conway of A Legendary Event was held on the museum floor.
Tables were set up amidst dinosaur skeletons and guests toasted with rum punch cocktails in honor of the groom’s Jamaican heritage.
For dessert, a four-tiered wedding cake was served which was decorated with gray icing in the shape of a ribbon to match Cynthia’s dress.
