Los Olivos, California
Jennie Garth married David Abrams at her Los Olivos, California ranch on July 11, 2015. Among the 120 guests in attendance was Garth’s “Beverly Hills 90210” co-star Tori Spelling.
Garth wore a non-traditional wedding dress by Claire Pettibone. The custom silk tulle gown was embroidered with blossoms of pale blush, rose and coral.
Some of the DIY wedding decor included lanterns, hand-painted signs and outdoor chandeliers. The bride created a romantic and vintage-inspired wonderland with flowers freshly picked from her gardenm and antique doors and lace from her mother’s collection.
The couple exchanged hand-written vows including Garth’s promise to watch The Golf Channel 24/7.
The homestyle outdoor dinner was served on antique china family style. The menu included cheesy grits and fried chicken, crispy maple turkey bacon hushpuppies, deviled eggs, polenta cornbread, black-eyed peas and roasted organic vegetables. Signature drinks were cocounut moonshine mojitos and Drunken Arnold Palmers served by Your Little Local, a 1954 vintage camper-turned-mobile bar.
The first dance was to Angels by The xx. Later in the evening, Beat Mosaic, a California soul and groove band performed.
Passing up a traditional wedding cake, the couple served homemade pies for dessert. The couple’s favorite banana cream pie had two bride-and-groom toppers handpainted by Garth.
The newlyweds honeymooned in Carmel.
