Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen were married on June 15, 2002.
The wedding took place at the Brentwood home of “Spin City” creator Gary David Goldberg.
Among the 85 guests in attendance were Sheen’s father, Martin Sheen, brother, Emilio Estevez, and Hollywood couples Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora, Brooke Shields and Chris Henchy and Angie Harmon and Jason Sehorn.
Richards walked down the aisle in a scoop neck antique white wedding dress by Giorgio Armani and diamond stud earrings, a Valentine’s Day present from Sheen. She clutched a bouquet of ivory roses.
The couple said their vows underneath a pergola strung with candles and red roses by Mark’s Garden. They were married by Sheen family friend Father Michael Kennedy.
At the conclusion of the vows, a gospel choir sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game,” an ode to the groom’s love of baseball.
A reception followed in a backyard tent where the couple shared their first dance to “Open Arms” by Journey.
The dinner menu included risotto tartufo and beef filet with potatoes, spinach and asparagus.
For dessert, a three-tiered cake by Fantasy Frostings was served with layers of chocolate fudge, banana nut and white satin.
