Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard on June 21, 2014. The wedding took place at Cross Church in Springdale, Arkansas.
With 1000 guests looking on, the bride walked down the aisle in a cap sleeve wedding dress by Allure Romance with Swarovski crystals and a chapel length train. She carried a bouquet of peach roses. The groom wore a gray suit with a peach-colored tie.
During the ceremony, the song “The Prayer” was performed by bridal shop owner Wendy Rivera and her husband Gabe.
The vows were officiated by Rev. Scott Hill and the bridesmaids and groomsmen stood together in pairs at the top of a small staircase.
Jill’s three sisters and niece were flower girls. They sat on the stage holding signs that read “Here Comes Your Bride.”
After being pronounced husband and wife, the couple kissed for the first time ever.
A “Sweet and Salty” themed reception followed for 600 guests at the Duggar’s nearby home. Root beer floats were served along with cupcakes and chocolate chip cookies.
The bride’s mother, Michelle Duggar, displayed her wedding dress hanging on a wooden backdrop. The police uniform of the groom’s father was also displayed.
The eldest child of the Duggar’s, Josh, served as emcee of the reception.
The newlyweds departed in a vintage pickup truck filled with balloons and decorated with the message “Just Married.”
