Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Eli Manning married Abby McGrew on April 19, 2008 in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The beachfront ceremony took place at sunset at the One & Only Palmilla Resort in front of 60 guests.
Prior to the ceremony, guests drank white wine, Veuve Cliquot and sparkling water while waiting in white folding chairs decorated with gold ribbons.
When the ceremony began, the bride walked through a wrought iron gate and down an aisle covered in pink wildflowers. A violin trio played the traditional “Wedding March” as she entered. McGrew wore a strapless silk Monique Lhuillier gown with gold embroidering and carried a bouquet of white roses. Her six bridesmaids wore strapless, champagne-colored dresses.
The groom and his six groomsmen wore khaki suits with white button-down shirts and white rose boutonnieres. The best man was Eli’s brother, Peyton Manning.
The couple exchanged vows on an elevated platform in a 15-minute ceremony officiated by a minister.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers on the beach. Tables were decorated with pink tablecloths and roses. After sunset, the party moved to cliff-side tables, where dinner was served. Later in the evening, a reception continued inside the hotel ballroom.
The couple honeymooned at the nearby Las Ventanas resort in Cabo San Lucas.
