Emily Deschanel married David Hornsby on September 25, 2010.
The quiet afternoon ceremony took place at her family home in Pacific Palisades.
Guests in attendance included the bride’s sister Zooey Deschanel, brother-in-law Ben Gibbard and “Bones” co-star David Boreanaz.
Emily wore a floor length dress with layers of wrapped gauze.
Her hair was pinned up with diamond and platinum hair clips by Neil Lane, paired with 10-karat diamond drop earrings.
The couple recited their wedding vows while standing on a rug in the backyard.
Following the nuptials, a reception was held at Smog Shoppe, a Green, solar-paneled event space in Los Angeles.
Coordinated by Bash, Please, the decor included flowers in hues of peach, orange, yellow and green.
For dinner, a vegan menu was prepared by Madeleine Bistro which included seitan.
Afterwards, guests enjoyed roasting vegan S’mores on blow torches.
Deschanel and Hornsby dated for three years prior to getting married.
She is best known for her role on “Bones,” while he is a writer for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”
