James Gandolfini married former model Deborah Lin on the Hawaiian island of Oahu on August 30, 2008. The couple tied the knot at Central Union Church in Honolulu, Lin’s hometown, in front of their closest family and friends.
The bride wore an Italian lace gown and walked down the aisle to the “Hawaiian Wedding Song,” played by a harpist. The groom’s eight-year-old son, Michael Gandolfini, served as best man. The church pews were decorated with white lilies and rhododendrons.
Following the 20-minute ceremony, the bride and groom left the church in a white stretch limousine and headed to the Kahala Resort, where they were met by 200 friends. The reception dinner menu included Ahi tuna, Chinese roasted duck breast over angel hair pasta, Mahi Mahi and filet mignon. For dessert, guests enjoyed tiramisu and cannoli.
The couple stayed at the Kahala Resort on their wedding night and extended their stay with a brief honeymoon.
