Josh Duhamel and Fergie gave out their wedding invitation as a favor at their Malibu wedding over the weekend. Like other celebrity couples, they opted not to send out the invitation before the wedding in hopes of keeping the date and location a secret.
According to our source who attended the wedding, “Each guest gave their name as they were leaving and they were handed a shimmery white envelope. Inside was a caricature with a picture of Josh and Fergie along with the wedding invitation.”
The caricature, in which the couple is pictured sitting on a dock, was inspired by a real dock near the boathouse at Church Estate Vineyards, where the couple was married.
As for the invitations, Fergie and Josh chose Lehr & Black to design them on white card stock with black font and embedded black crystals. The Beverly Hills stationer also designed the program and menu for their big day.
The couple used a monogram to seal their envelopes consisting of a lower case “f” and “j.” According to a friend of the couple’s, “The design of the monogram was based on a necklace that Josh gave to Fergie.”
