Kate Middleton‘s wedding band will be made of Welsh gold, the palace announced on Thursday.
Created by Wartski, the band was crafted from a piece of gold that was given to Prince William by Queen Elizabeth shortly after his engagement.
Wartski has a history of creating wedding bands for the royal family. They made the Welsh gold rings for the 2005 wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles.
Prince William has opted to not wear a wedding band.
