Huntington, New York
‘N Sync’s Joey Fatone married his high school sweetheart Kelly Baldwin at Oheka Castle in Huntington, New York on September 9, 2004.
The wedding took place in front of 255 guests including Jamie Lynn Sigler, Nia Vardalos and Justin Timberlake.
The bride walked down the aisle in a satin strapless dress by Ulla-Maija. The couple’s three year old daughter, Briahna, was the flower girl and tossed rose petals.
Kelly and Joey exchanged self-written vows in front of an altar covered in ivory roses, calla lillies and hydrangeas. Fatone cried throughout as he told his wife, “I always wanted a family and now I have one.”
Following the vows, a red-themed reception, planned by Michael Russo of Roses n Lollipops, was held. The room was decorated with thousands of red roses, candles and fabric draped from the ceiling.
Guests danced to the sounds of a DJ, and for dessert, two wedding cakes were served in the shape of Kelly’s wedding dress and Joey’s tux.
Before the night was over, guests were surprised with an indoor carnival complete with rides, bumper cars and a game room. The pop band Smashmouth gave a live performance and Kelly and Joey got up on stage and danced.
On the way out, guests signed a guitar from Joey’s personal collection instead of a traditional guest book.
