Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian Wedding

Kim Kardashian married Kris Humphries on August 20, 2011. The black and white wedding took place at the Sotto Il Monte estate in Montecito, California.

Celebrities at the affair included Ryan Seacrest, Carmelo Anthony, Lindsay Lohan, Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne. The 400 guests were all asked to wear black or white attire to the nuptials.

Kim walked down the aisle on the arm of her stepfather Bruce Jenner. She wore a strapless Vera Wang wedding dress with an ivory tulle ballgown, basque waist and hand-pieced Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and train.

Her jewelry, by Lorraine Schwartz, included a 65-carat diamond drop headpiece secured to her cathedral length veil and a bracelet from Humphries with two diamond K’s which tied in a knot.

Kim’s sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, were maid and matron of honor, while her younger sisters, Kendall and Kylie, were bridesmaids. Her nephew, Mason, was ring bearer.

The wedding was officiated by the Humphries family pastor, Joel Johnson.

Kim and Kris wrote personal vows and exchanged wedding rings during the Catholic ceremony. Hers: A diamond eternity band by Lorraine Schwartz with more than 15-carats of emerald cut stones.

Following the ceremony, a tented reception was held with an Old-Hollywood glamour theme. Wedding planner Sharon Sacks worked with Mark’s Garden to decorate the room with hundreds of white hydrangeas and orchids, mirrors and crystal chandeliers.

Kim changed into her second Vera Wang dress for the first dance, an ivory georgette mermaid gown with hand cut organza petals on the skirt. The couple danced to “Angels” performed live by Robin Thicke.

She then changed into her third Vera Wang dress, an ivory bias-cut crepe back satin gown with a V-neck and circle skirt, to enjoy a live performance by Earth, Wind and Fire and tunes spun by DJ Cassidy.

The dinner menu, catered by Wolfgang Puck, included heirloom tomato salad, agnolotti pasta and roasted chicken.

For dessert, the couple stuck with their black-and-white wedding theme and chose a six-foot-tall $10,000 wedding cake, by Hansen’s Cakes with eight octagonal tiers and alternating flavors of marble cake and chocolate butter creme with white chocolate chips, and vanilla with chocolate chip filling.

Heart-shaped Krispy Kreme donuts were served to guests as they left at the end of the evening. Gift bags also included jeweled flip flops, Voluspa candles and Kim’s fragrance.

The couple honeymooned at Hotel Santa Caterina on Italy’s Amalfi coast.
