Lily Allen married Sam Cooper on June 11, 2011 at St. James The Great church near her home in Cranham.
Allen walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, Keith Allen, wearing a long-sleeved lace wedding dress by French designer Delphine Manivet with a fishtail hem and three-quarter sleeves. The dress was topped off with a 1920s-style headdress in matching lace and custom 5 1/2 inch heels by Rupert Sanderson made from a mixture of iridescent pearled suedes.
The traditional church ceremony included a performance by the village choir.
Following the vows, the newlyweds departed the church in a vintage Bentley and returned to Allen’s home for a reception with an English cricket and afternoon tea theme.
The bride changed into a white chiffon Chanel gown featuring bell sleeves and an empire waist along with Rossini flats by Rupert Sanderson.
Allen’s father performed at the party along with Lil’ Band O’ Gold, and a short fireworks display was set off.
During the meal, which included a hog roast and cupcakes, the groom announced that the couple were expecting their first child.
As a wedding gift, Allen later presented Cooper with a special jukebox featuring her love songs.
