Punta Mita, Mexico
Mario Lopez married Courtney Mazza at Casa Aramara in Punta Mita, Mexico on December 1, 2012.
The Mexican fiesta themed wedding was attended by 200 guests including Eva Longoria, and Casa Aramara owner Joe Francis.
Courtney walked down the aisle wearing a custom fit to flare wedding dress designed by Ines di Santo. The gown had a cameo pink underlay and featured a bateau neckline, off-the-shoulder sleeve and dramatic lace bow at the back.
The couple’s 2-year-old daughter Gia served as flower girl and wore a dress that matched her mother’s.
Mario and Courntey recited personal vows under a white gazebo by the ocean. The ceremony was officiated by a catholic priest who Mario had flown in for the wedding.
A traditional mariachi band performed as the newlyweds entered the reception. Courtney changed into a second Ines Di Santo silk gown with asymmetrical rouching throughout the bodice and a slit at the side.
The couple shared their first dance to Otis Redding’s “These Arms of Mine” before a salsa band performed and a DJ spun tunes.
The wedding cake, by “Cake Boss” star Buddy Valastro was a multi-tiered chocolate and red-velvet confection.
Later in the evening, Courtney surprised Mario by getting on stage and performing with Andy Grammer.
The festivities continued into the night with fireworks and and a pool party where the bride and groom jumped in the pool.
