Donald Trump and Marla Maples were married on December 21, 1993.
The wedding took place in the Grand Ballroom at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. The couple recited their vows in front of 1,000 guests including Howard Stern, Robin Leach, Rosie O’Donnell and O.J. Simpson.
Maples wore a double-faced satin, off-the-shoulder wedding dress by Carolina Herrera . She accessorized with a $2 million diamond tiara by Ronald Winston and shoes by Manolo Blahnik.
Trump’s father, Fred, served as best man. The bride’s friend, Janie Elder, was maid of honor.
The ceremony were officiated by The Rev. Arthur Caliandro and Metropolitan Opera singer Camilia Johnson performed. The couple said their vows under white birch branches dripping with crystals.
At the reception, thousands of white orchids filled the room. The dinner menu included sushi, lamb, and beef.
For dessert, a six foot vanilla-cream wedding cake by Sylvia Weinstock was served.
