Molly Malaney and Jason Mesnick Wedding

Celebrity photo ABC

Rancho Palos Verdes, CA

Despite a torrential downpour, “Bachelor” couple Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney tied the knot at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA on February 27, 2010.

Molly walked down the aisle on the arm of her father as former “American Idol” contestant Jason Castro performed “Over the Rainbow” on a ukelele.

She wore a $45,000 strapless wedding dress by Monique Lhuillier paired with jewelry by Neil Lane and green Manolo Blahnik shoes.

Her hair was up in a loose twist and styled by celebrity hair guru Ken Paves.

She carried a white orchid bouquet with a love note from Jason attached to the stem.

Bridesmaids wore strapless dresses by Monique Lhuillier and the groom wore a dark colored suit by Kenneth Cole.

Guests were seated on linen covered ottomans for the ceremony. Among the 300 attendees were “Bachelor” alums Trista Sutter, Ryan Sutter, Jillian Harris, Ed Swiderski, Deanna Pappas, Kiptyn Locke and Charlie O’Connell.

The thirty-minute vows were officiated by Molly’s uncle, Judge Patrick Hillary. The couple read personal messages to each other and Jason wiped tears from Molly’s eyes.

They were married under an altar constructed of tree branches and driftwood and decorated with white lillies and orchids by Jackie Combs Floral Design. Near the conclusion of the nuptials, white doves were released into the sky.

Following the vows, a reception was held in the ballroom where 15-ft trees filled a candlelit room.

Molly and Jason shared their first dance to “Follow Through” performed live by Gavin DeGraw. Afterwards they hit the dance floor for songs performed by the LA All Stars.

Before the night was over, a wedding cake by Vanilla Bake Shop was served with flavors including red velvet, strawberries and cream and Molly’s favorite, chocolate with sea salt.

The couple honeymooned in the Caribbean.
