Famous hat maker Philip Treacy is rumored to be designing Kate Middleton’s wedding hat for her April 29 royal wedding to Prince William.
Treacy, who designed the feathered wedding hat worn by Camilla Parker Bowles at her 2005 wedding to Prince Charles, confirms to People.com he is designing hats for “some members of the royal family and attendees.”
“Kate recently met Treacy after the Duchess of Cornwall recommended his designs for the senior members of the wedding party, including mother-of-the-bride Carole,” royal watcher Katie Nicholl tells The Daily Mail.
Middleton has worn Treacy’s hat to several high-profile events in the past. On her wedding day, she is expected to change out of her wedding gown and into a different dress and hat for a dinner dance being hosted by Prince Charles.
