Princess Madeleine of Sweden married American banker Christopher O’Neill in a lavish ceremony at The Royal Palace Church in Stockholm on Saturday.
The bride wore a wedding dress by Valentino Garavani with a white lace-top and four meter long train. She accessorized her look with a diamond tiara adorned with orange blossoms. She walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, King Carl XVI Gustaf, as a children’s choir performed the Swedish wedding march. Roxette singer Marie Fredriksson and Broadway’s “Phantom of the Opera” star Peter Joback also performed during the ceremony.
The couple said their vows in front of 470 guests including European royals and top New York socialites.
They announced their engagement in October 2012.
