Reese Witherspoon and her new husband Jim Toth were spotted heading for their honeymoon in Belize last week.
The newlyweds along with Witherspoon’s two children stayed in the Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve, known for an immense rain forest, tropical jungle and wildlife sanctuary.
Francis Ford Coppola’s Blancaneaux Lodge is the premiere luxury accommodation in the area featuring waterfalls, thatched bungalows, caves and ancient Mayan civilization.
Belize is the northernmost point in Central America and only a two-three hour flight from several cities in the U.S. Along with the tropical rainforest and jungle, Belize has hundreds of islands and the longest barrier reef in the hemisphere.
Witherspoon and Toth were married at her Ojai ranch on March 26 in a country-chic wedding. She wore a blush pink-colored Monique Lhuillier wedding dress.
