When Russell Brand proposed to Katy Perry in India, he wanted to make sure everything was perfect.
The couple stayed at the five-star Taj Rambagh Palace in a presidential suite. According to the UK Sun, Brand asked the hotel to set up a candlelit dinner which they arrived to via horse and carriage.
They ate under the stars and at midnight enjoyed a fireworks show while sitting on an elephant. Perry found the engagement ring hidden in some flowers in the Mughal Garden and Brand asked her to marry him.
Earlier in the day, they went to an ancient fort where Brand bought Perry a traditional Indian dress to wear for the evening.
According to friends of the pair, the wedding will be in the next six months.
