Sara Rue wore Amsale’s “Dahlia” wedding gown when she married Kevin Price over the weekend in a vintage whimsical wedding overlooking the ocean.
The strapless silk taffeta ball gown from the Blue Label has a ruched sweetheart neckline and is made with over 45 yards of silk taffeta. The skirt is adorned with delicate hand pleated floral embroidery.
“Sara came to try on dresses with a long list of styles she liked, but the minute she put on the ‘Dahlia’ gown she knew it was the one,” designer Amsale Aberra tells us. “The caffe color was absolutely stunning with her red hair and the feminine style of the gown suited her perfectly.”
Rue, who lost 50 pounds leading up to the wedding, paired the dress with Tiffany blue “Farfalla” heels adorned with Swarovski crystal butterflies by Aruna Seth.
